Unfuck Your Depression: Depression doesn't have to be a life sentence if you are the judge

Depression can feel like a weight that’s impossible to lift. It can sap your energy and make it hard to motivate yourself to do anything. But depression is not a sign of weakness or something you can “snap out of” on your own. It’s an actual condition that which often requires treatment. There are many different types of depression, and it can have a variety of causes. Some people experience depression in response to a specific event, such as losing a job or the death of a loved one. Others have ongoing, long-term problems that contribute to their depression, such as chronic illness or poverty. Depression doesn’t discriminate. It can affect people of any age, race, or gender. And it’s not always easy to recognize. I eventually gave depression a kick up its ass. In this book, I share my journey with depression that followed me well into my adult life. Believe me, I learned a lot along the way. My determination to put this condition to rest was my biggest liberation in life. Whatever it takes, know that it is possible to unfuck your depression and find your happiness.
