Abandoning a Cat: Memories of my Father

In this autobiographical story, Haruki Murakami punctes a few seemingly casual memories of those who, on closer inspection, give him a deep sense of belonging to his father. Haruki Murakami has touched on many subjects in his long career, but one theme has left untouched so far: his father.
