Echoes of the Past

Summary:A compelling Yorkshire saga ... Widowed Katherine Chambers is taking her young son to visit her husband's family when their ship runs into a severe storm off Robin Hood's Bay. The ship and the crew of the Whitby lifeboat are lost. A survivor, identified as 'Katherine' from the engraving on her bracelet, has no knowledge of who she is or where she is from. She is taken in by the local doctor, but his sister takes a cruel pleasure in Katherine's predicament, and especially her turbulent reaction when there is a storm.
