I'm Not Scary ... I'm Just a Dinosaur

I’m Not Scary. . . I’m Just a Dinosaur! is a charming book that challenges the idea that dinosaurs were just big scary monsters by gently exploring the different ways in which these incredible creatures adapted to survive. From Diplodocus to T-Rex, discover how dinosaurs’ unique features helped them to thrive! The simple and easy-to-follow text by Ben Lerwill highlights the "scary" features of each dinosaur and then, with a pause, reveals the reasons they weren’t really scary at all – in fact, it’s these "scary" things that made each dinosaur special! In this book, you’ll see how their different body parts were designed by nature to help them stay fit and strong. Hilarious and playful illustrations from Erica Salcedo will delight readers with a cast of comical dinosaurs throughout.  With an underlying message of not judging by appearances, I’m Not Scary. . . I’m Just a Dinosaur! is filled with fun and facts. This is a unique approach to a non-fiction picture book on dinosaurs, perfect for young (and old) dinosaur fans to enjoy and read aloud over and over again!
