This one was super creepy, heart-wrenching, and hard to read at times, but also very unique and captivating. It reminded me of Stephen King’s IT with Cabin in the Woods vibes. It would make a fantastic psychological horror movie! While it did get a little repetitive and I wish there had been more of a definitive resolution regarding the missing friend, I loved the psychological aspects of the story and how it explored the bonds of friendship and the pain of trauma. > **“Home is where the hurt is.”** *Check content/trigger warnings for this one.
