The touch of thistledown

When Clare, a recently qualified solicitor, meets Neal on the way to her cousin's wedding in Suffolk, his arrogant views on a woman's place in the profession annoy her. Nevertheless, she finds herself reluctantly becoming very attracted to him, despite her involvement with a married partner in the firm where she works. Suffolk and Neal are never far from her life - or her heart; though when one of her clients makes an unexpected, desperate move, Clare finds she is fighting for her life as well as her future happiness.
