Birth Of A Journey is just that. David is born with an ability that allows him to adopt and master the abilities of others. In this volume he goes from birth to teen aged years with the ups and downs of childhood. His only difference is that he must be sheltered away from others with abilities until he shows that he can control the use of them properly. From the early ages of childhood David wants to be a super hero like most childhood fantasies. The only difference is he not only has the dream of being a powerful super hero, he has the ability to become one. This first part of his journey brings him from his fast education and trials through his younger years to a teen aged boy who falls in love with a girl who also has a special ability.By the end of this volume David grows into a caring selfless young lad who feels he is ready for almost anything, but is he ready for the prophecy that may change his focus about the future?
