About this book
My first real faculty position after returning to graduate school to finish my Ph.D. in the mid-1980s was a year-long stint in the history department at Boston College, where I filled in for two professors on leave, teaching various Americanist courses, including the hugely popular HI 101, "America in the 1960s."
