Mystic River

Sean Devine, Jimmy Marcus and Dave Boyle were childhood friends until the day Dave was abducted by two strangers. Twenty-five years later, their paths cross again under tragic circumstances, the murder of Jimmy's oldest daughter, Katie. Sean, now a homicide detective, is assigned to the investigation and discovers that Dave, deeply damaged by his childhood ordeal, not only encountered Katie on the night she died, but came home covered in someone's blood.
