The Education Of Uncle Paul

A novel for adults about children, exploring the wonderful land of a lost childhood. Paul returns to England after twenty years in the Canadian wilderness. He has been bereft of adult company and so emotionally feels somewhat like a little boy. Moving in with his widowed sister and her three children, he attempts to keep his inner emotions to himself, but the children work it out straight away and introduce him to their games, playing on childish imaginings. Their many adventures take them to another realm, ‘The Land Beyond The Crack’, a land full of mystery and where all lost and disregarded things can be found. Paul is fully immersed and comes to truly understand himself, and what really matters in life.
