Anschließend fährt Bloch mit dem Bus in eine Grenzstadt, wo er eine Bekannte besucht. Hier irrt er ruhelos durch die Gegend und bemerkt irgendwie gleichgültig, dass die Polizei seine Spur verfolgt.
