About Bronwyn Scott

Hey there. Bronwyn Scott here! Actaully, this is just my alter-ego. In real life, I am simply Nikki Poppen. I just write under this name when I am doing my work for Harlequin Historicals. Aside from writing these stories, you can also find my other writing through Avalon Books where I continue to write my historicals, but with a "tamer" approach. Outside of writing, I love to travel and study history. I first was sucked into history when I would play games with my father on those infamous "family road trips." I later turned that love for history into my work at both Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Oregon, where I finally did my research in historical rhetoric of the antebellum south. I'm a big traveler as well. Get me on an airplane and I will pretty much go anywhere. My travels so far have taken me to Russia, Slovakia, France, Ireland and Italy (which in my head is really my second home). Much of that research is then incorporated into my writing.
