Religion is considered a private matter, and it is bad form or uncool to discuss it or make a big show of piety. #2 The question of why there is existence at all is a difficult one to answer. It is a feeling of universal oddity, and it includes a basic and intense wondering about the sense of things. Why are there so many galaxies in a universe that seems to have no purpose. #3 The first result of the illusion is that our attitude to the world is completely wrong. We feel like we are living inside a universe that is completely alien and strange, when in reality, we are expressions of the entire universe. #4 The second result of feeling that we are separate minds in an alien, and mostly stupid, universe is that we have no common sense. We have no way of making sense of the world upon which we are agreed in common.
