Ethics and Medical Technology

This text addresses the subject of ethics for biomedical engineers because of the unique ethical questions surrounding the profession. In addition to traditional medical questions, topics are covered with respect to the impact of technological research and device design as they relate to health care. This includes social and cost issues. The author pays particular attention to Europe where health care ethics and technological availability are very public issues.
