Mystery Fossil

Mystery Fossil is an interactive way of discovering the world of the Paleoathropologist. It is available on cd-rom and includes six recent fossil hominins featuring Atapuerca, Herto and Kenyanthropus – plus one new mystery fossil. It leads you through a series of interactive exercises that teach you how to analyze hominin fossils. Students will be able to measure and compare 24 different fossils, plot their timelines and locations, group them using similar characteristics, and understand their anatomy and discovery. Through the interactive excercises, students learn to identify the six mystery fossils and create a new hominin family tree.
