Conjecture and Proofs

Designed for the introduction to proofs course and as a supplement for post-calculus courses, this text is intended to meet the needs of a diverse mathematics audience. It's purpose is to help students learn some of the standard concepts and methods of abstract mathematics. Conjecture and Proof is applicable to a variety of courses including discrete mathematics, advanced mathematics, abstract algebra, real and complex analysis, number theory, and advanced calculus.
