Castle is Professor Emeritus, Oregon State University, where he taught agricultural economics for more than twenty-five years and held numerous administrative positions including Dean of the Graduate School, Director of the Water Resources Institute, and Dean of Faculty. For a decade he served as Vice President and then President of the public policy institute, Resources for the Future. He authored the text "Farm Business Management" and edited "The Changing American Countryside: Rural People and Places."<br/><br/>CAROL E. BECKER is a marketing communications and organizational development consultant who for nearly twenty-five years has helped nonprofit organizations achieve their goals through effective planning and communication. She formed and headed the communication office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, where she worked for five years. Becker lives in Park Ridge, Illinois.<br/><br/>Jon Nelson has practiced in the Chicago office of Banner & Witcoff, Ltd., for more than thirty-five years. Throughout that time he has been involved in the procurement of patents, trademarks and copyrights, advisory counseling, opinion preparation, contract negotiation and preparation, and extensive<br/>litigation related to patents, trademarks and copyrights. Mr. Nelson is known for his innovative approach to intellectual property problems, and has been listed among America's top intellectual property lawyers on a number of occasions.
